Website - Updates!!

I've been working on my website over the last few weeks. I have a few layouts so far, but my latest one is the one I like the best, simple, natural and I really hope you all like it. I went to school for computer programming and I 'think' it's helping me out... The website should be ready in the next couple of weeks... cross my fingers :)

By the end of the summer I will have photos of a few couples that are getting married. I am very excited for them as planning a wedding can be pretty fun.. never mind the stressful parts ;) Hearing about the dresses, the cakes, the families and decorations is reminding me of last summer when I was rushing around trying to be the calm bride.... the less stressed bride.. or just me rather... :)

I wanted to congratulate and thank the couples getting married this summer! Also, for including me in their very special day... and to those that have had or will be having the pleasure of wedding photographers around the Campbell River area. Yes, Erin Wallis is absolutely amazing.. She was our wedding photographer and I couldn't have asked for a better set of memories captured by her. Thanks Erin... She really is one of my biggest inspirations. Not to mention the other very creative folks of the North Island.

First wedding.... May 25th!! This couple is coming all the way from the U.K to the beautiful Sonora Resort! I can’t wait to share!

More coming soon. :) I better throw in a picture. :)

Sun Rising - Early Spring

Boys and Sticks

My stepsons REALLY wanted me to post a few pics of them here, and we had the perfect opportunity yesterday. A forest full of sticks, trees and mud made the perfect scene. (also a bit of video games on their mind to create the scene of warriors) I believe children should wear what they want during a shoot instead of being forced into the ol' shirt and tie. Although, formal shots are sometimes beautiful, I love seeing children be themselves, and comfortable in their surroundings. It makes photos a bit more fun for them. Plus, it captures the moment in time of who they really are. xo ...these kids really make me smile...

Love you boys!!
